We are looking to recruit Principal and Senior Ecologists to join our team, based at our riverside office in Exeter. Both roles are full time, permanent positions. We offer an exciting portfolio of projects; first-class training and promotion prospects; and a competitive salary, pension, TOIL and bonus scheme.

The successful candidates will have:

  • A good relevant degree.
  • At least five years professional experience.
  • Proven ability to prepare EcIA Reports, Licence Applications and Ecological Management Plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Protected species survey licences.
  • Proven ability to work within multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • Membership of CIEEM.

For the Principal Ecologist role, the following would be advantageous:

  • Proven ability to prepare complex reports, including ES Ecology Chapters and HRA Reports.
  • Previous experience of management and business development.
  • Technical excellence in one or more species group e.g. bats, birds, newts.
