Associate Director

Alastair is an Associate Director with over a decade of professional ecological consultancy experience across both the Private and Public sectors. During his career Alastair has had involvement in a broad range of projects including: residential and commercial developments, infrastructure projects including roads and utilities, renewable energy schemes (wind and solar), minerals sites, and waste and recycling facilities. His Key skills include:

  • Ecological appraisal and assessment
  • Protected species survey – holds survey licences for bats, great crested newt and dormouse
  • Preparation of European Protected Species Development Licences for bats and dormouse.
  • Design and implementation of mitigation measures and biodiversity enhancement/offsetting contributing to masterplan design
  • Preparation of Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIA) and Ecology Chapters for Environmental Statements
  • Habitat Regulations Assessment for plans and projects
  • Preparation of site Management Plans
