Linda is an experienced ecologist with over 20 years experience in ecological consultancy and academic research.  Project experience includes major and minor road schemes, residential developments, flood defence schemes, minerals/mining, pipelines and renewable energy schemes. Key skills include:

  • Ecological appraisal and impact assessment;
  • Ecological survey and mitigation including Extended Phase 1 habitat survey;
  • Licensed surveyor for bats, dormice and great crested newts;
  • Experienced in badger ecology and mitigation. Registered to use Natural England’s Badger Class Licence (which can allow closure of sett to commence within 5 days of registering a site);
  • Preparation of European Protected Species development licences.
