We wish to recruit an Associate Director, who will be an integral part of our Senior Management Team. The post is based at our office near Exeter in Devon – situated on the banks of the River Clyst and enjoying stunning views across the estuary. The successful candidate will lead and deliver complex and interesting projects, manage and develop a team of dedicated and talented ecologists; and build and develop relationships with clients and project teams across a range of sectors.

  • A good relevant degree.
  • Significant professional experience, the majority in consultancy and at senior levels.
  • Proven staff management experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, design teams, planners and regulators.
  • Confidence in the preparation and critical-review of technical reports, including EcIAs, HRAs, BNG assessments, ES Ecology chapters and Ecological Management Plans.
  • Commercial awareness and aptitude for business development.
  • Full Membership of CIEEM; Chartered Ecologist/Environmentalist would be an advantage.
  • A Full UK driving licence.
