Meet the Team – Laurie Allnatt

Today’s meet the team introduces Senior Ecologist, Laurie Allnatt. Here’s what Laurie has to say about working with us:
“I’ve had a passion for birds from a young age, and so ecology has always been a natural career for me. Having joined EAD Ecology after University, I’ve been lucky enough to work on a variety of exciting bird projects, from wetland bird surveys on large estuaries, to nightjar and Cirl Bunting Surveys, and recently, nocturnal bird surveys with use of the latest thermal imaging equipment. Over my time at EAD, I’ve worked my way up to lead ornithologist and now play a key role in planning our surveys. The company has also helped me to develop extensive skills in other areas, such as botany, Biodiversity Net Gain and Ecological Impact Assessment. With our office being on the banks of the Exe Estuary, and a stone’s throw from one of Devon’s premier birding sites, we are surely the perfect place for any experienced birder to make home, with many an exciting sighting seen right from our desks!”
