Will has worked as an ecologist and ornithologist since 2008, on projects across a range of sectors including onshore and offshore renewables, residential and utilities. As well as planning, advising on and undertaking a range of bird surveys, he is experienced in protected species survey and mitigation, Biodiversity Net Gain assessments, and preparing reports such as shadow Habitats Regulations Assessments (HRAs), Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEAs) and Ecological Impact Assessment (EcIAs). Will also holds survey licences for barn owl, great crested newt and dormouse, and is a Full member of CIEEM.
