Project news: Lower Otter Restoration Project

We are delighted to have been appointed by Clinton Devon Estates to undertake long-term ecological monitoring for the Lower Otter Restoration Project (LORP). LORP is a pioneering project that will re-connect the River Otter with its floodplain and create over 50 hectares of mudflat and saltmarsh, providing a better place for people and wildlife and climate-change adaptation.

Our ecologists will be monitoring habitats and vegetation over the next five years as the floodplain changes; this forms part of a much wider package of monitoring of all aspects of this ground-breaking project.
