Ecological Survey and Monitoring
We offer a comprehensive survey and monitoring service, which includes all plant and animal groups. All surveys are undertaken in accordance with standard ecological survey methodologies and include the following:
- UK Habs, Phase I and Extended Phase 1 habitat
- Phase II vegetation (NVC) and BNG Habitat Condition Assessment (FISC Levels 4 – 5)
- Rivers (including MoRPh, RCS and RHS)
- Botany – including higher and lower plants
- Invertebrates
- Fish
- Reptiles and amphibians
- Breeding and wintering birds
- Mammals: Bats, badgers, hazel dormouse, otter, water vole, beaver.
We also design and implement ecological monitoring programmes, from large-scale monitoring for nature reserves to monitoring the success of BNG delivery and species mitigation associated with development. We can undertake detailed analysis of ecological data and are skilled in statistical techniques and data presentation
